Duties Perform oil and fluid changes on a variety of standard passenger cars using hand tools and power tools efficiently and safely. Conduct basic vehicle inspections to identify potential mechanical issues and communicate findings to the service team. Assist with tire service, including mounting, balancing, and rotation to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Support minor mechanical repairs such as replacing filters, wipers, batteries, and other essential components. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use. Provide friendly, professional customer service by explaining services performed and answering customer questions confidently. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks like wheel alignments and basic diagnostics under supervision or guidance. Skills Previous dealership or automotive repair shop experience is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of standard passenger cars and automotive systems. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics, fluid replacement, and minor mechanical repairs. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment. Ability to lift heavy objects safely during tire service or vehicle maintenance tasks. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities. Knowledge of automotive safety standards and procedures for vehicle maintenance.
