The ideal candidate has strong mechanical ability, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship and customer service. Responsibilities- Inspect, diagnose, and repair 12V/120V electrical, plumbing, propane, HVAC, appliance, slide-out, awning, leveling, and chassis systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance, including roof and seal inspections, bearing packs, generator service, and seasonal maintenance.
- Install aftermarket equipment and accessories such as hitches, solar systems, and backup cameras.
- Complete repair orders accurately, documenting labor hours, parts used, findings, and repairs performed.
- Communicate repair findings, parts needs, and job progress clearly with service advisors and management.
- Explain repairs or inspection findings professionally to customers when needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area and follow company and manufacturer safety procedures.
- Work independently and with the service team to meet productivity and quality standards. Qualifications
- RV, automotive, marine, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or related mechanical experience preferred.
- Strong diagnostic ability with working knowledge of electrical and plumbing fundamentals.
- Experience using diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions, repair manuals, and manufacturer guidelines.
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage time and complete quality work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work indoors, outdoors, and inside recreational vehicles.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record;
RVIA/RVDA
