Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated R and R Mechanic to join our dynamic automotive service team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics on a variety of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers by diagnosing issues accurately and executing repairs efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of automotive systems, including, transmissions, and electrical components. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify mechanical and electronic issues. Perform repairs and maintenance on transmissions and powertrains Utilize hand tools and power tools skillfully to execute repairs with precision while adhering to safety standards. Replace or repair vehicle components such as air brakes, alignments, wheel bearings, shocks & struts, and auto body parts as needed. Execute routine maintenance tasks to ensure vehicle longevity. Read and interpret technical schematics for complex repairs involving automotive electrical systems and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and estimates. Requirements Proven experience working as an automotive mechanic with dealership or independent shop background preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics reading Hands-on experience with GM vehicles or similar makes is advantageous but not mandatory. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software. Familiarity with automotive safety standards including air brake systems and ADAS technology. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professionalism.
