Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Welder to join our team and contribute to the fabrication, assembly and repair of metal components. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to read and follow detailed prints. We are looking for a skilled Welder to join our team and contribute to the fabrication, assembly and repair of metal components. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to read and follow detailed prints. Salary for the position starting at $19.00 per hour.
Hours:
Full time 40-hour position, 1st Shift- 6:00 am
- 2:30 pm, possibly flexing to 5:00 am
- 1:30 pm during warmer months. Primary Responsibilities
- Layout components in accordance with detailed prints provided.
- Fit up components and verify they are within specified tolerances.
- Set up weld equipment for specific tasks to be performed.
- Weld components using proper equipment and techniques.
- Grind and finish welds to make aesthetically appealing.
- Perform daily housekeeping tasks and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed based on safety guidelines.
- Other miscellaneous duties as needed. Minimum Qualifications
- Possesses 1-2 years of experience with aluminum and steel welding.
- Experience in MIG welding carbon steel & aluminum spool gun 30 amp Miller gun.
