Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact between customers and our service department, ensuring a smooth and efficient vehicle maintenance experience. Your energetic approach and strong automotive knowledge will help drive customer satisfaction, promote service sales, and foster long-term relationships. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and listen carefully to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Provide detailed explanations of recommended repairs and maintenance procedures, including auto diagnostics, transmissions, oil changes, brake repair, suspension, tire service, shocks & struts, air brake systems, alignment, diesel engine repair, and auto body repair Prepare accurate auto estimating and service writing documentation to ensure clear communication with technicians and customers Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of services Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining excellent customer service throughout the process Maintain detailed records of all service activities, customer interactions, and vehicle histories for future reference Requirements Proven Automotive Service Advisor or similar role with a strong background in auto service management Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and repair procedures including transmissions, oil changes, brake systems, suspension components, tire services, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, wheel alignments, and auto body repairs Experience working with automotive estimating software and service writing tools Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining integrity and trust with customers Mechanical experience or background as a mechanic or service technician is highly desirable Strong sales skills combined with a passion for automotive repair and vehicle maintenance Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently Join us in delivering exceptional automotive care!
