Responsibilities Perform tire replacements, rotations, repairs, and balancing with precision using hand tools and power tools. Conduct oil changes, fluid top-offs, and basic vehicle inspections to maintain optimal engine performance. Assist with wheel alignments, brake inspections, and other essential maintenance services. Utilize automotive diagnostics tools to identify mechanical issues accurately and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Engage with customers professionally to explain services performed and recommend additional maintenance or repairs when appropriate. Support the dealership's service team by handling heavy lifting tasks and assisting with general vehicle maintenance duties. Qualifications Dealership experience or prior automotive repair background is highly preferred. Proven mechanic experience with a solid understanding of automotive systems and diagnostics. Mechanical knowledge complemented by familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment. Experience performing oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and basic vehicle maintenance. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and work in a physically demanding environment. Service technician experience is a plus; enthusiasm for learning new skills is essential.
