Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Trailer Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and repairing trailers, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires the ability to perform heavy lifting and operate various machinery while ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality. Duties Inspect, maintain, and repair trailers to ensure they meet safety standards. Perform heavy lifting and suspend trailers for repair work. Fabricate parts as needed to complete repairs or modifications. Diagnose issues with air brake systems and other trailer components. Operate forklifts safely to move trailers and equipment around the shop. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance. Work with farm machinery as necessary to ensure proper functionality of trailers used in agricultural settings. Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and time spent on each job. Skills Proficient in heavy lifting techniques and safe handling of equipment. Strong ability to maintain and troubleshoot mechanical systems, particularly air brake systems. Experience in fabricating parts for trailers or similar machinery. Familiarity with operating forklifts and other material handling equipment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Knowledge of farm machinery operations is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
