Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated A Level Technician to join our dynamic automotive service team. As an A Level Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring top-quality service and customer satisfaction. Your hands-on experience with various automotive systems and commitment to excellence will drive your success in this role. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to complete repairs efficiently and safely. Work with dealership-specific protocols on GM vehicles or similar models to deliver precise repairs aligned with manufacturer standards. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems effectively. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostics. Extensive knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brake systems, and automotive electrical systems. Skilled in diesel engine repair, transmission repair, suspension system repair, and heavy equipment mechanics. Proficient with automotive schematics, powertrain components, wheel alignment techniques, and oil change procedures. Familiarity with auto estimating software and maintenance protocols for efficient workflow management. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience working with various hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
