Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety standards. Repair and replace vehicle components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized heavy equipment mechanics tools. Work on diesel engine repairs and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations to support modern vehicle technology. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Qualifications Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in dealership or independent shop settings. Demonstrated knowledge of automotive electrical systems, mechanical systems repair, and powertrain maintenance. Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair, transmission overhaul, suspension system repair, brake repair, and wheel alignment. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and schematics for accurate troubleshooting. Ability to work safely with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery in a fast-paced environment. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid mechanic certification or relevant technical training; ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification is preferred.
