Job Description

Cox Automotive is hiring an Automotive Technician for Manheim Phoenix. In this role, you'll inspect, diagnose, and repair a wide variety of vehicles supporting auction and remarketing operations. You will perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, use diagnostic equipment and software, complete accurate repair orders, and help ensure vehicles meet safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues on a wide range of vehicles Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and safety checks to support auction readiness Use diagnostic tools and software to identify faults and document repair actions Complete accurate repair orders and maintain service records in company systems Collaborate with lane, operations, and reconditioning teams to meet turnaround timelines Follow Cox Automotive and Manheim safety, quality, and compliance standards Communicate vehicle status and repair recommendations to supervisors and internal customers Maintain a clean, organized work area and properly handle tools and equipment Required Skills Automotive diagnostics Automotive mechanical repair Electrical systems troubleshooting Use of diagnostic scan tools Brake and suspension service Engine and drivetrain repair HVAC automotive systems Service documentation and repair orders Automotive safety and compliance standards Basic computer skills for service software
