This full-time position involves performing comprehensive automotive repairs, vehicle maintenance, and diagnostics to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work independently using their own main tools. This role offers the flexibility to work on larger jobs during weekends if desired, in addition to regular weekday hours. Duties Conduct automotive repairs, including engine, transmission, and electrical system diagnostics Perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid checks, and tire rotations Diagnose mechanical and electronic issues accurately using diagnostic tools Repair and replace brake systems, ensuring safety and compliance with standards Carry out wheel alignments to improve vehicle handling and tire longevity Utilize hand tools effectively for various repair and maintenance procedures Manage multiple repair projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex issues and ensure customer satisfaction Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the garage Access the garage on weekends for larger jobs if desired Requirements Proven experience as a Master Mechanic or similar role with a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostics Proficiency in brake repair, alignments, and general vehicle maintenance Ability to perform automotive diagnostics accurately using appropriate tools and techniques Must possess your own tools necessary for comprehensive repairs Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and efficiently within a team setting Availability to work full-time hours Monday through Friday starting at 8 am; flexibility for weekend work on larger jobs is optional only.
