Duties Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Write detailed service estimates using estimating software, clearly explaining recommended repairs and maintenance procedures Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, suspension work, shocks & struts, transmissions, and collision repair to enhance vehicle performance and safety Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed, including parts used, labor hours, and customer approvals Communicate effectively with clients about vehicle diagnostics, repair progress, and cost estimates to foster trust and transparency Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash handling procedures Skills Proven experience in auto service management or as a service technician with mechanical knowledge of automotive systems Strong understanding of automotive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance procedures Proficiency with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity and customer trust Knowledge of dealership operations, collision repair processes, and auto estimating techniques Familiarity with key automotive systems such as transmissions, oil changes, tire service, shocks & struts, brakes, suspension components Experience in auto sales or service writing is highly desirable Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us if you're passionate about cars and dedicated to providing exceptional customer experiences!
