For more than 14 years, we have delivered dealer-level service directly to customer locations, helping fleet operators reduce downtime and keep their vehicles safe, reliable, compliant, and operational. We provide preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repair services for a wide range of commercial automotive vehicles, including cargo vans, passenger vans, pickup trucks, utility vehicles, shuttle vehicles, and light- to medium-duty fleet units. Position Overview We are currently hiring two experienced Mobile Automotive Technicians to join our field service team. In this role, you will work independently from a fully equipped company service truck and perform inspections, diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repairs at customer locations throughout Southern California. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with automotive mechanical, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, cooling, air-conditioning, and drivability systems. The technician must be comfortable managing mobile service calls independently while maintaining clear communication with dispatch and customers. Vehicles Serviced Our automotive technicians work on a variety of commercial fleet vehicles, including: Ford Transit and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana vans Cargo vans and passenger vans Pickup trucks and utility vehicles Light-duty and medium-duty commercial vehicles Box trucks and delivery vehicles School vans and shuttle vehicles Gasoline and light-duty diesel fleet vehicles Key Responsibilities Perform general automotive maintenance and repairs, including brakes, suspension, steering, electrical systems, cooling systems, and powertrain components Diagnose check-engine lights, warning lights, starting concerns, charging-system problems, drivability issues, and electrical faults Perform oil changes, fluid services, filter replacements, tune-ups, and scheduled preventive maintenance Inspect and repair brake systems, including pads, rotors, calipers, hydraulic components, and parking brakes Diagnose and repair steering and suspension concerns, including shocks, struts, tie rods, control arms, wheel bearings, and related components Perform battery, starter, alternator, lighting, wiring, and electrical-system repairs Diagnose and repair heating and air-conditioning systems Perform cooling-system repairs, including radiators, hoses, thermostats, water pumps, and related components Complete vehicle inspections and scheduled fleet maintenance services Perform DOT inspections when required for applicable vehicles Accurately identify mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns Clearly communicate inspection findings, repair recommendations, and estimated completion times to dispatch and customers Use an iPhone and Fullbay to document repairs, track labor time, complete service notes, and upload job photos Maintain a clean, organized, stocked, and job-ready service truck Follow OSHA, EPA, company, and customer safety requirements Represent 91 Bravo with professionalism, integrity, and strong customer service at every customer location Qualifications Minimum of five years of hands-on automotive repair experience Strong automotive mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills Experience servicing commercial vans, pickup trucks, utility vehicles, or fleet vehicles Ability to diagnose drivability, starting, charging, cooling, braking, steering, suspension, and electrical concerns Experience working independently in a field-service or mobile-repair environment Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Comfortable using Apple devices, mobile applications, scan tools, and digital work-order systems Experience with Fullbay or a similar fleet-management platform is preferred Air-conditioning diagnostic and repair experience is preferred Light-duty diesel experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to completing repairs correctly Dependable, organized, and able to manage time effectively Strong customer-service and communication skills Ability to self-manage, make sound repair decisions, and remain accountable while working in the field Why Join 91 Bravo Competitive pay based on experience and skill level Independence and flexibility while working in the field Fully equipped company service truck provided Established company with more than 14 years of industry experience Professional, team-oriented culture with high standards Opportunity to work on a wide range of commercial automotive fleet vehicles Opportunity to strengthen diagnostic and mobile-service skills Opportunity to grow with one of Southern California's most respected mobile fleet maintenance companies
