Chevrolet Carson is looking for an experienced Transmission Technician to join our growing service team! If you're a skilled technician looking for excellent earning potential, a strong team environment, and a dealership that values your experience , this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for. GM experience is a plus, but it's not required. Dealership experience and experienced technicians coming from reputable aftermarket shops are welcome to apply. Need additional training? What You'll Do Diagnose, disassemble, repair, and rebuild vehicle transmissions Perform maintenance and repair work efficiently and in accordance with dealership and/or factory standards Inspect, clean, and evaluate transmission components and related parts Provide accurate labor and time estimates for additional repairs Clearly explain technical diagnoses and recommended repairs to Service Advisors and customers Perform electrical and engine-related diagnostics and repairs as needed Inspect and test vehicles to identify necessary repairs and ensure quality workmanship Maintain high standards for customer satisfaction, productivity, and repair quality Participate in ongoing technical training to stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment What We're Looking For Previous transmission repair experience preferred Dealership or aftermarket automotive repair experience GM experience is a plus, but not required Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Experience with electrical and engine systems Motivated, dependable, and committed to quality workmanship Customer-focused and professional attitude Comfortable working in a flat-rate environment Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Ready to Put Your Skills to Work?
