Position Overview We are seeking a dependable, organized Heavy Truck Service Writer / Parts Professional for a dual-role position at our busy terminal. You will act as the central hub of our daily operations—handling front-counter customer service, coordinating repair workflows, sourcing parts for our technicians, and maintaining accurate digital service records.

Key Responsibilities Service Coordination:

Greet customers, answer phones with excellent etiquette, listen to service requests, and write up accurate heavy-duty truck and RV repair orders.

Parts Procurement:

Source, order, and manage parts requests for technicians to ensure vehicle downtime is kept to an absolute minimum.

Workflow & Billing:

Utilize shop software to manage service records, generate customer invoices, and coordinate schedules to maximize shop efficiency.

Customer Satisfaction:

Actively resolve customer inquiries and communicate effectively with team members and vendors to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications & Skills Customer-First Mindset:

Strong customer service skills with a commitment to driver and fleet satisfaction.

Industry Familiarity:

Prior experience in heavy truck service, automotive service writing, or heavy-duty parts counters is a strong plus.

Computer Literacy:

Proficient in using shop management systems, digital parts catalogs, and managing electronic service records.

Detail & Multitasking:

Ability to stay organized, manage attention to detail, and multitask effectively in a fast-paced shop environment.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is advantageous.

License:
