In this role, you will specialize in restoring, maintaining, and repairing vintage and classic European vehicles, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and authenticity. Your expertise will help preserve automotive history while delivering exceptional service to our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of classic cars, applying your mechanical skills and automotive knowledge to keep these timeless vehicles running smoothly and beautifully. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical systems on classic vehicles, including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, and electrical components Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, valve adjustments, tune-ups, shocks & struts replacement, and vehicle inspections Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex issues with vintage automotive systems Repair or replace engines and powertrain components with precision and care Maintain a level of cleanliness in your work and work area Experience Proven classic car experience or extensive background working in the automotive repair industry specializing in classic or vintage cars Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics reading, and automotive diagnostics tools Hands-on experience with vintage fuel systems (carburetors, Bosch CIS, Kugelfischer, Motronic, etc.) is a plus but not required Familiarity with BMW and Mercedes chassis codes is a plus Excellent customer service skills in addition to mechanical experience to deliver professional support and advice Who we are looking for Self motivated, sets personal goals without being asked Experienced mechanic, must have at least 5 years prior experience of working in a shop Detail oriented, will take the time to notice little things about each car Clean, in your workspace and in the work you do Honest, someone that wants to do the best job possible rather than pump work out Valid CA drivers license The position Pay based on experience and performance Monday through Friday 8:30-5:30 Paid lunch Potential for equity in the business Join us in celebrating automotive craftsmanship!
