In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance, safety, and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will help keep vehicles running smoothly and efficiently, contributing to a positive experience for our clients. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools and interpret automotive wiring diagrams to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmission, suspension, electrical systems, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and alignment procedures. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Read schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems on diverse vehicle makes, including GM vehicles. Repair diesel engines and vehicle transmission systems with precision and attention to detail. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly, ensuring transparency, and building trust with clients. Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience working on various vehicle models. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using automotive diagnostic tools and interpreting schematics. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, ADAS technology, and vehicle systems troubleshooting. Experience repairing powertrain components, suspension systems, transmissions, and diesel engines is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced automotive service environment. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance best practices along with technical proficiency in using power tools and hand tools.
