Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools and interpret automotive wiring diagrams to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmission, suspension, electrical systems, and diesel engines. Conduct vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and system inspections. Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components with precision. Troubleshoot advanced systems such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and utilize schematics for complex repairs. Interpret automotive electrical diagrams and schematics to diagnose wiring issues or electrical faults effectively. Collaborate with team members to ensure quality workmanship while providing excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and professionally. Requirements Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience in automotive repair environments. Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle makes and models, including GM vehicles if applicable. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, including the use of diagnostic tools for troubleshooting engine, transmission, electrical, and suspension systems. Familiarity with automotive wiring diagram interpretation and schematics. Experience repairing vehicle transmission systems, powertrains, suspension systems, and diesel engines is highly desirable. Ability to read and understand automotive service manuals and schematics thoroughly. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance procedures such as alignments and system inspections. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and electronic components is essential. Ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment in a fast-paced environment.
