Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Master Technician to join our dynamic automotive service team. In this role, you will leverage your extensive mechanical expertise to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicle systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety. As a Master Technician, you will serve as a technical leader within the shop, mentoring junior technicians and providing exceptional customer service. Your expertise in advanced diagnostics, mechanical repairs, and vehicle maintenance will drive our commitment to delivering top-tier automotive solutions. Responsibilities Perform complex diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and overhaul powertrain components including transmissions, diesel engines, and drivetrain systems with precision and efficiency. Conduct comprehensive repairs on suspension systems, shocks & struts, brakes, air brake systems, and wheel alignments to ensure vehicle safety and performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge to execute repairs on mechanical systems across various vehicle makes and models. Service vehicles with routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections while adhering to manufacturer specifications. Interpret schematics and technical manuals for automotive electrical systems, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and other electronic components. Provide mentorship to less experienced technicians by sharing expertise in automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and industry best practices. Qualifications Proven dealership experience or extensive background working in the automotive repair industry with a focus on light and heavy-duty vehicles. Strong knowledge of ADAS technology, diesel engine repair, transmission overhaul, and automotive electrical systems. Familiarity with schematics interpretation, oil change procedures, wheel alignment techniques, and suspension system repair. Experience working with GM vehicles or other major brands is preferred but not required. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software for automotive repairs. Mechanical knowledge of powertrain components including engines, transmissions, axles, and mechanical systems repair. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Valid certifications in automotive repair or relevant technical training are highly desirable; ongoing professional development is encouraged. $5,000 signing bonus after the probationary period.

Pay:

$85,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
