Part-Time Automotive Mechanic / Technician We're looking for a skilled, dependable, and experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our growing team on a part-time basis . The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is confident diagnosing and repairing a variety of automotive vehicle makes and models. Responsibilities Diagnose automotive issues using diagnostic equipment, technical knowledge, and hands-on experience Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake service, and preventative maintenance Repair and replace major vehicle components, including engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, and braking systems Perform engine repairs , including disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly Perform thorough vehicle inspections and accurately document findings and recommended repairs Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper safety and performance Communicate effectively with team members regarding vehicle conditions, repairs, and recommendations Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow proper safety procedures and industry best practices Qualifications Minimum of 3-5 years of professional automotive repair experience Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or Automotive Technician Hands-on knowledge and experience with engine resealing and reassembly Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures Proficient with automotive diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools Valid driver's license with a safe driving record Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team Reliable, professional, and takes pride in delivering high-quality repairs What We Offer Competitive hourly pay , based on experience and qualifications Paid holidays Supportive and professional work environment Opportunity to grow with a developing team
