Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and energetic Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional automotive service, ensuring customer satisfaction and vehicle reliability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse vehicle types, including GM models, and utilize advanced diagnostic tools to solve complex mechanical issues. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle components such as engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, and powertrain systems. Execute oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacements, and other routine maintenance tasks efficiently. Repair or replace ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brake systems, and other electronic components to ensure vehicle safety features function correctly. Utilize hand tools and power tools skillfully for mechanical repairs while adhering to safety protocols. Interpret technical schematics and repair manuals to troubleshoot complex problems effectively. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicles meet safety standards before returning to customers. Experience Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance. Dealership experience is highly preferred, especially working with GM vehicles or similar brands. Knowledge of automotive diagnostics software and electrical systems is essential. Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair, auto body repair, welding, and auto estimating is advantageous. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, transmissions, alignment procedures, suspension work, and tire service is required. Ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills to handle diverse repair scenarios confidently. Pay:
$28.77 - $34.65 per hour
