MASTER / DIAGNOSTIC AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN

Shige's Premier Auto Service - Gardena, CA Full-Time | Monday-Friday Shige's Premier Auto Service has proudly served the community for over 48 years and continues to grow through strong leadership, high standards, and a commitment to doing things the right way. We are currently looking for an experienced Automotive Technician or Diagnostic Technician who wants to grow with a professional, performance-driven team. We are not looking for someone who simply replaces parts. We are looking for technicians who enjoy diagnostics, problem solving, learning, and continually improving their craft. Whether you are already highly experienced or an advanced technician looking to elevate your diagnostic ability, we are interested in speaking with motivated individuals who take pride in their work and want long-term opportunity.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Diagnosing and repairing drivability, electrical, suspension, brake, A/C, and engine performance issues Performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs accurately and efficiently Using scan tools, wiring diagrams, service information, and diagnostic equipment properly Working on a wide range of vehicles including modern vehicles with advanced technology Collaborating with service advisors and fellow technicians to maintain efficient workflow Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional work environment Continuing to improve technical skill and diagnostic ability over time

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Strong work ethic and positive attitude Diagnostic mindset and willingness to learn Ability to work independently and stay productive Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability Experience using scan tools and repair information systems ASE certifications are preferred but not required initially Willingness to pursue ASE certifications as part of career growth Experience with drivability and electrical diagnostics is a major plus Team-oriented mentality with professionalism and accountability
