Automotive Mechanic / Fleet & European Vehicles

Full Job Description Evolution Auto Body is hiring an experienced Automotive Mechanic to work on fleet vehicles, diesel cargo vans, light-duty trucks, and late-model European passenger vehicles . We are looking for a well-rounded technician with 5-10 years of experience who can diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles independently while keeping up with a steady workflow in a professional shop environment. What You'll Do Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, filters, etc.) Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using modern diagnostic tools Repair and replace components including brakes, belts, hoses, and suspension parts Work on fleet vehicles, light cargo vans, and European models Conduct inspections and recommend necessary repairs Use smartphones, tablets, or laptops to document repairs and update work orders Maintain accurate service records and follow shop workflow processes Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of jobs Follow safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work area Perform additional duties as needed Must-Have (Non-Negotiable) 2+ years of hands-on experience as an Automotive Mechanic Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Experience using diagnostic tools and software Solid understanding of automotive systems (engine, suspension, brakes, etc.) Valid driver's license Nice-to-Have (Preferred) Experience with diesel van engines or fleet vehicles Experience working on European passenger vehicles 1+ year experience with light to medium-duty truck repair ASE certification or technical school training CDL (or willingness to obtain one) Tire service experience (mounting, balancing, rotations) Basic auto body repair knowledge Work Environment & Equipment Modern shop with provided major tools and diagnostic equipment Team-oriented, family-style work environment Consistent workflow with growth opportunities Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally

Job Details Position:

Automotive Mechanic Pay:

$30.00 - $55.00 per hour (based on experience and skill level)

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
