In this vital role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure that our clients' equipment operates efficiently and reliably, contributing to their comfort and safety. Responsibilities Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, refrigeration units, plumbing fixtures, electrical systems, and mechanical equipment with precision and attention to detail. Troubleshoot equipment issues using schematics, electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters, and mechanical knowledge to identify root causes quickly. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC/R systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Utilize building automation systems (BAS) to monitor and adjust HVAC controls for energy efficiency and system reliability. Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents to guide repairs or installations effectively. Communicate clearly with customers regarding system issues, repair procedures, and maintenance recommendations while providing excellent customer service. Maintain accurate service records, logs, and reports for all work performed in accordance with company policies. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC or related fields such as refrigeration or plumbing. Strong construction experience coupled with hands-on skills in equipment troubleshooting and mechanical systems repair. Knowledge of HVAC system installation, maintenance, and repair techniques including electrical diagnostics. Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, HVAC design principles, building automation systems (BAS), and electrical systems. Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently; experience with specialized tools like ohmmeters is preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a driver vehicle if applicable. Certifications such as EPA refrigerant handling certification are required; additional certifications in HVAC/R or electrical diagnostics are a plus. Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues promptly.
