In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers by leveraging your mechanical knowledge, technical proficiency, and hands-on experience with automotive repair tools. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse vehicle models, including GM vehicles, and stay at the forefront of automotive technology advancements such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Your dedication will contribute directly to vehicle safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems. Conduct repairs on powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and diesel engines, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications. Repair and replace vehicle suspension systems, alignments, and wheel balancing to optimize handling and ride quality. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams for electrical system troubleshooting and repairs involving automotive electrical systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for mechanical repairs while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Service vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, fluid replacements, and system calibrations. Repair or replace vehicle systems including ADAS features, electrical wiring, powertrain components, and vehicle transmission systems to restore full functionality. Skills Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a strong mechanical background. Proficiency in reading schematics and automotive wiring diagrams for accurate diagnostics and repairs. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostic tools and advanced diagnostic procedures. Knowledge of ADAS technology integration, calibration, and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures across various models, especially GM vehicles. Strong understanding of vehicle suspension system repair, alignment processes, and transmission system repairs. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Ability to interpret automotive electrical systems and wiring diagrams accurately. Experience working with power tools and hand tools safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
