Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and energetic Mechanic and Technician to join our dynamic automotive team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicle systems with a focus on delivering exceptional service to our customers. Your expertise will ensure vehicles operate safely, efficiently, and reliably, supporting our commitment to quality automotive care. This position offers an exciting opportunity for mechanics with dealership experience and a passion for automotive technology to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Duties Diagnose and repair engine systems, including diesel engines and automotive electrical systems, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and schematics. Perform comprehensive vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, alignment adjustments, and powertrain servicing. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics accurately to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively. Repair and replace automotive components including engines, transmissions, suspension parts, and other vehicle systems using hand tools and power tools. Conduct ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations and repairs to ensure modern safety features function correctly. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Maintain detailed repair records, follow safety protocols during heavy lifting or manual handling tasks, and keep work areas organized. Requirements Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance. Extensive knowledge of automotive engine technology, electrical systems, and vehicle diagnostics. Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools, schematics interpretation, and electrical wiring diagrams. Hands-on experience repairing diesel engines as well as standard passenger cars. Ability to perform mechanical repairs using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical repair techniques efficiently. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus; however, broad mechanic experience is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude towards clients and team members. $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
