Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Auto/Equipment Ranch Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on vehicles and rolling equipment that support daily farm operations. This position plays an important role in keeping equipment safe, reliable, and operational while minimizing downtime. Key Responsibilities Perform routine and preventative maintenance on vehicles, farm equipment, and other rolling stock according to manufacturer specifications and company procedures. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and complete necessary repairs. Work with Ranch Managers to identify equipment and safety concerns and address them promptly. Order parts and supplies needed for equipment maintenance and repairs. Maintain accurate equipment maintenance and inspection records, including required DOT documentation. Perform required 90-day inspections on DOT-certified equipment. Help maintain a safe work environment and follow all company safety procedures. Report safety, quality, and equipment concerns to management. Safely operate and maintain various types of rolling equipment used on the ranch. Assist with maintaining equipment availability and minimizing downtime. Perform basic welding and other mechanical repairs as needed. Support ranch goals, productivity, and operational efficiency. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma/GED preferred, or at least 1 year of related experience or training; equivalent experience will be considered. Previous experience working on a variety of vehicles and rolling equipment. Experience with diesel and gasoline engines . Familiarity with DOT regulations and inspection requirements . Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Basic welding skills. Forklift operation certification or ability to become certified. Ability to work independently and use sound judgment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work effectively with employees and management at all levels. Ability to read and write English. Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to learn. Commitment to safe work practices and a strong work ethic.

Pay:

$33.80 - $35.00 per hour
