California Emergency Vehicles Turn your automotive and 12-volt skills into something that matters. California Emergency Vehicles is looking for motivated, hands-on people to join our team building, upfitting, and servicing emergency vehicles. If you have experience with car audio, automotive electronics, 12-volt wiring, vehicle accessories, fabrication, or automotive repair , your skills may be a great fit for what we do. Instead of installing stereos and amplifiers, you'll be installing and working with emergency lighting, sirens, radios, communications equipment, consoles, and other specialized equipment used by firefighters, paramedics, and other public-safety professionals. Emergency vehicle experience is a huge plus—but it is not required. If you're mechanically inclined, understand 12-volt electrical systems, take pride in clean work, and are willing to learn, we want to hear from you. What You'll Be Doing Every project is a little different. You'll have the opportunity to work on ambulances, fire command vehicles, fire apparatus, and other specialized emergency vehicles.

Your work may include:

Installing emergency warning lights Installing sirens, speakers, and control systems Installing two-way radios and communications equipment Running, terminating, securing, and organizing vehicle wiring Installing consoles, equipment mounts, and accessories Troubleshooting 12-volt electrical problems Diagnosing and repairing emergency vehicle electrical systems Fabricating brackets and custom components Disassembling and reassembling vehicle interiors Working with other technicians to complete vehicle builds We take pride in doing clean, professional installations .
