The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic abilities, extensive knowledge of European automotive systems, and the ability to independently identify and repair mechanical and electrical issues. This position is best suited for a skilled technician who takes pride in accurate workmanship, efficient repairs, and maintaining the highest standards of vehicle care. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Audi vehicles. Perform engine, transmission, suspension, steering, brake, cooling, and electrical system repairs. Use professional diagnostic scanners and manufacturer-specific software to identify faults. Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and computer-related issues independently. Complete routine maintenance, including oil changes, tune-ups, inspections, fluid services, and brake replacements. Interpret wiring diagrams, technical service bulletins, and manufacturer repair procedures. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and identify additional safety or maintenance concerns. Provide accurate repair recommendations and parts requirements. Perform road tests before and after repairs to confirm proper vehicle operation. Maintain accurate documentation of diagnostics, repairs, labor, and parts used. Keep tools, equipment, and the work area clean, organized, and safe. Communicate clearly with service advisors regarding vehicle conditions and repair progress. Required Qualifications At least 6 years of professional automotive repair experience . Extensive hands-on experience working with Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Audi vehicles . Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills. Ability to diagnose and complete repairs independently. Experience using European vehicle diagnostic equipment and software. Knowledge of modern vehicle electronics, control modules, and computerized systems. Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical repair information. Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Must provide or have access to the necessary professional automotive tools. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Preferred Qualifications ASE certification or manufacturer-specific training. Previous experience working at a European automotive dealership or specialty repair shop. Experience with diagnostic platforms such as XENTRY, ISTA, ODIS, Autel, or equivalent systems. Experience with engine, transmission, and advanced electrical repairs. Skills and Abilities Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities. Strong time-management and organizational skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced repair environment. Dependable, professional, and punctual. Able to communicate effectively with team members and service advisors. Committed to following safety procedures and manufacturer repair standards. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work underneath vehicles for extended periods.
