As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. You will work with a wide range of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs, performing various mechanical and electrical repairs. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, a strong work ethic, be teamwork oriented and have a passion for automotive maintenance and repair. Good time management skills and the ability to make and keep commitments and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements. Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and equipment. Repair and replace worn-out or faulty parts and components, such as brake system components, engine and transmission parts, and electrical components. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems or issues. Provide accurate estimates for repairs and communicate with Service Advisors about the necessary repairs and maintenance. Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and industry trends. Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition. Always adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Certification or formal training in automotive technology. Proven experience as an Automotive Technician. Strong knowledge and experience with automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and computer diagnostics. Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
