In this role, you will perform comprehensive repairs and maintenance on used vehicles, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance. Your expertise will help keep our customers confidently on the road while advancing your career in a fast-paced, supportive environment. Whether working on gasoline, diesel, or hybrid vehicles, you'll utilize your mechanical skills and automotive knowledge to troubleshoot issues efficiently and accurately. Duties Conduct detailed inspections and diagnostics on used vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using automotive diagnostic tools. Perform repairs and maintenance including engine repairs, transmission work, brake servicing, suspension adjustments, wheel alignments, and electrical system troubleshooting. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to interpret vehicle systems and execute precise repairs. Repair or replace components such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), powertrain parts, vehicle electrical systems, and auto body elements as needed. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to complete tasks efficiently. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Communicate effectively with team members and customers about repair procedures, timelines, and vehicle condition updates. Requirements Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and mechanical repair. Knowledge of ADAS technology, schematics interpretation, diesel engine repair, and automotive electrical systems is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with alignment procedures, auto body repair techniques, welding, and general maintenance tasks. Familiarity with Ford vehicles or similar makes is a plus; certification in automotive service or mechanic experience preferred. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, powertrain equipment, and diagnostic software confidently. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ASE certification or manufacturer-specific training is an advantage.
