In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services. Your energetic approach will ensure a positive customer experience while efficiently coordinating service appointments, communicating repair needs, and managing service workflow. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine automotive knowledge with exceptional customer service skills, ensuring every client leaves satisfied and confident in their vehicle's care. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly upon arrival, establishing a friendly and professional rapport to promote trust and satisfaction. Accurately listen to customer concerns, document vehicle issues, and recommend appropriate services based on automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge. Prepare detailed estimates using auto estimating software, clearly explaining repairs, costs, and timelines to customers. Coordinate with service technicians and mechanics to prioritize work orders, ensuring timely completion of repairs such as oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, suspension work, tire services, and diesel engine repairs. Upsell additional services or maintenance packages by highlighting benefits aligned with customer needs while maintaining transparency. Manage the flow of vehicles through the service lane, ensuring efficient check-in and check-out processes while handling cash or credit transactions securely. Maintain accurate records of service history, parts used, and customer interactions to support ongoing service writing and automotive repair documentation. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong understanding of automotive service management and customer relations. Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and repair procedures including oil changes, brake repair, alignments, shocks & struts, air brakes, suspension work, tire service, transmissions, and diesel engine repairs. Demonstrated ability in auto estimating software and service writing to generate accurate quotes and invoices. Excellent sales skills with a focus on upselling complementary services while maintaining integrity and transparency. Mechanical aptitude combined with mechanic experience or familiarity with automotive repair processes enhances communication with technicians. Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
