Job Description

HumanHire is partnered with an autobody shop in the Mountain View area to help find an Automotive Service Technician to join their team! This shop has experience tremendous growth and is already outgrowing its current facility. The Automotive Service Technician will be responsible for servicing BMW vehicles, including performing diagnostic tests, oil and filter changes, coolant flushes, inspections, and repairs on suspensions, transmissions, engines, and brake systems.
Compensation:
$35-$40/hr and can possibly go higher depending on your capabilities and experience with BMW vehicles!
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 9AM-530PM, Friday 9AM-5PM.

Automotive Service Technician Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and performance-related issues on luxury/sport BMW models Run diagnostic tests to pinpoint mechanical or electrical issues. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as coolant flushes, transmission fluid services, spark plug replacements, and oil/filter changes. Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards. Perform component swaps on engines and transmissions and repairs on suspension, steering, and brake systems. Perform HVAC and cooling system repairs. Maintain accurate records of all work and parts used. Write up technical notes for service advisor to relay to customers.
Automotive Service Technician Qualifications:
At least 3 years of prior hands-on experience servicing BMW vehicles. High school diploma or equivalent required, certification or vocational training in automotive technology highly preferred. Valid driver's license and cleaning driving record. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and part of a collaborative shop team.
