About the Role We're looking for a seasoned diagnostic technician who enjoys solving the problems other shops can't figure out. This is a high-level position focused on electrical and complex drivability diagnostics. If you're the person others come to when they're stuck, this is the role for you. We run a steady, organized shop and value doing things the right way, especially when it comes to diagnostics. What You'll Be Doing Diagnose complex drivability and electrical issues Troubleshoot ADAS, powertrain, and advanced system faults Use scan tools, wiring diagrams, and schematics to find root causes Work through problems that don't have obvious answers Support the team with difficult or unusual repairs Communicate findings clearly when needed What We're Looking For Strong diagnostic ability (this is the most important skill) Solid electrical troubleshooting experience Experience with advanced vehicle systems (ADAS, CAN networks, etc.) 5+ years of hands-on experience (or equivalent skill level) Ability to think critically and work independently Comfortable working on a variety of makes and models Team player with a good attitude The Ideal Candidate Confident diagnosing issues without step-by-step guidance Experienced with electrical diagnostics and wiring diagrams Has seen a wide range of problems and knows how to approach the unknown Focuses on accurate diagnosis—not guesswork or parts swapping Can work independently while supporting the team Why This Role Is Different You won't be doing basic repairs all day You'll be the go-to for complex diagnostic work Your skillset will actually be used and valued We prioritize diagnosing issues correctly—not rushing through jobs Compensation $35-$50/hr depending on experience Pay is flexible for the right high-level diagnostic technician No benefits or bonus structure at this time Apply If You enjoy solving problems other people can't You take pride in accurate diagnostics You're looking for a shop where your skills are respected If this sounds like you, we'd like to connect.
