Approximately $30-$35 per hour Additional compensation: Performance-based bonus opportunities may be available Oliver Automotive is looking for a Service Advisor who can take excellent care of customers while helping repair work move accurately and efficiently through the shop. We would ideally like an experienced Service Advisor, but we are also open to someone with strong customer-service skills, automotive knowledge, and the ability to learn the complete position. About Oliver Automotive Oliver Automotive is a family-owned independent repair shop that has served Novato since 1995. We are an ASE-certified facility and NAPA AutoCare Center providing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs for domestic and import vehicles, including hybrids.

What You'll Do Welcome customers and listen carefully to their vehicle concerns Accurately prepare and maintain repair orders Explain inspection findings, estimates, and repair recommendations Obtain customer authorization and keep customers updated Coordinate information between customers and technicians Review completed work and explain final invoices Help provide the honest, professional service our customers expect What We're Looking For Excellent customer-service and communication skills Strong organization and attention to detail Dependability and consistent follow-through The ability to manage several priorities in a busy environment Automotive knowledge or relevant automotive-industry experience The ability to work effectively with customers, technicians, and shop leadership An honest, customer-first approach Previous Service Advisor experience is preferred, but it is not the only way to qualify. We will also consider a capable customer-facing candidate who understands vehicles, learns quickly, communicates professionally, and is ready to develop into the complete role. Compensation An experienced, fully trained Service Advisor may earn approximately $30-$35 per hour , depending on experience, qualifications, demonstrated ability, and performance. A candidate who requires additional training may start below this range. Performance-based bonus opportunities may also be available, with the details discussed during the hiring process.
