The ideal candidate will have experience in the maintenance and repair of trucks, trailers, and other heavy machinery. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Truck Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all equipment operates safely. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks and other heavy equipment. Diagnose mechanical issues using automotive diagnostic computer. Repair or replace components including brakes, clutch, basic electrical, transmissions, hydraulics, and suspension systems. Conduct tire service, oil change, and brake repair on various types of machinery. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for fabrication and assembly tasks. Maintain accurate and thorough records of repairs and services performed. Weld, Cut, and Fabricate Provide exceptional service by communicating effectively with internal clients regarding their equipment repairs. Ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times. Requirements Proven experience as a Truck Mechanic or similar role in automotive repair or industrial equipment maintenance. Must supply your own tools. Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in engine repair. Experience in hydraulics installation and maintenance beneficial. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding techniques. Experience with heavy lifting and physical demands of the job. Strong problem-solving skills along with electrical experience is desirable. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team and management. A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to heavy equipment operation are preferred.
