We are a full-service automotive repair facility and the candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and fixing issues, aiming for maximum reliability and functionality. We're seeking a self-motivating, self-starting, non-supervised, excellent problem-solving, experienced technician who can facilitate any mechanical or maintenance job our customers may require. The interested candidate must be well versed in complex mechanical or electrical systems of vehicles and have excellent problem-solving abilities, good eye-hand coordination, and manual dexterity. They must also be good communicators to provide diagnostic findings to our service advisors. Responsibilities Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately. Inspect vehicle computers and electronic systems to repair, maintain, and upgrade. Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts, etc.) aiming at vehicle functionality and longevity. Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks). Provide accurate diagnostics for a repair or maintenance job. Maintain equipment and tools in good condition. Qualifications Proven experience as an automotive technician or master technician. Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles. Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods. Ability to handle various tools (e.g. air guns) and heavy equipment (e.g. lift). Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protection against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. ASE certification is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is desirable. Valid certification (e.g. ASE) is a definite plus Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!
