We are seeking a highly skilled Project Automotive Technician specializing in Rear Axle Replacement to join our dynamic automotive service team. This project is approximately 40 hours long and involves performing precise and efficient repairs on vehicle rear axles, ensuring optimal vehicle performance and safety. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems repair, and a comprehensive understanding of powertrain components. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of vehicle makes and models. Duties Follow inspection and replacement instructions Qualifications Proven dealership or automotive repair industry experience with a focus on mechanical systems repair and diagnostics. Strong knowledge of automotive suspension systems, transmissions, powertrain components, and diesel engine repair. Familiarity with schematics interpretation Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools. Experience working with Japanese or Korean vehicles or similar makes is advantageous but not mandatory. Ability to perform precise repairs such as axle replacement while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with strong problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and customers alike. Valid certifications or training in automotive electrical systems or diesel mechanics are preferred but not required.
