The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on delivering high-quality service to our customers. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of various vehicle systems and the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. Experience with dealership operations and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) is highly desirable. Has to have wide mechanical knowledge and be able to explain performed diagnostics and identify needed repairs on vehicle. Duties Perform routine vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring all work meets safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Conduct thorough automotive diagnostics to identify issues related to mechanical, electrical, and powertrain systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various repair tasks, including alignment, welding, and auto body repair. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to aid in the repair process. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs and repair options. Maintain accurate records of services performed on vehicles, including parts used and labor hours. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including ADAS features, to enhance service quality. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the shop. Skills Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic with a strong mechanical knowledge base. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and repair techniques. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and troubleshooting methods. Experience working with GM vehicles is a plus. Ability to work with diesel engines and perform diesel engine repairs when necessary. Strong understanding of powertrain components and alignment procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Capability to use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively. Dealership experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
