Job Summary:

We are now taking applications for a service technician. Family owned and operated since 1968, Miller's 76 has stayed true to the tradition of being a service station. We wash windows, check tires, provide assistance for gasoline fueling, and fill propane cylinders. We are a full automotive repair facility, providing oil changes, smog inspections, tune-ups, brake repair, air conditioning service and all general repairs. We are a fast paced shop looking for a tech that pays attention to detail and shows a willingness to learn. You must have experience in service work along with basic mechanical knowledge and application; however we welcome those who are looking for a place to develop their skills and automotive knowledge. Technicians who have a smog license or are looking to obtain one are highly encouraged. Full time position available. Hourly rate plus commission with the average pay of $19 to $22 per hour. Duties:

Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks on various vehicle makes and models Inspect vehicles for additional service needs and communicate findings to customers Use power tools and equipment to complete service tasks efficiently Perform tire rotations Conduct basic automotive diagnostics to identify issues Maintain a clean and organized work environment Keep shop organized and track inventory supplies

Skills:

Proficiency with power tools and equipment used in automotive repair Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed Ability to communicate effectively Basic knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures
