Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and energetic Automotive Paint Technician to join our dynamic auto body repair team. Responsibilities Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, masking, and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply primers, paints, clear coats, and coatings using conventional spray guns for precision and consistency Conduct surface preparation tasks including buffing, polishing, and detailing to achieve a smooth, glossy finish Use hand tools, power tools, and buffing machines effectively for auto body repair and surface finishing Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols including proper use of respiratory protection and other personal protective equipment Ensure all work complies with environmental regulations related to paints, solvents, and surface preparation materials Experience Background in automotive body refinishing preferred Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, sanders, buffing machines, and spray guns for automotive applications Familiarity with automotive buffing, detailing, auto painting, and coating spray gun operation Knowledge of automotive surface preparation including masking techniques and sanding procedures Experience working with various paints and coatings, especially PPG Water Base paint Ability to lift heavy objects safely during repairs or material handling tasks Join our team if you're passionate about automotive craftsmanship!
