The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle suspension, brake repair, steering work, with experience in both classic vehicles and newer vehicles. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality service while ensuring customer safety and satisfaction. The Automotive Mechanic will work on a variety of vehicles, including newer vehicles, classic vehicles, lifted & lowered vehicles, and will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and maintaining automotive suspension and brake systems. Duties Perform routine brake & alignment inspections, suspension and brake replacements, and tire rotations. Diagnose and troubleshoot suspension and braking issues. Providecustomer service by communicating effectively with clients about their vehicle needs and repair options. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain clear and open communication with Service Advisor / Office manager. Ability to work without any supervision while maintaining quality workmanship. Qualifications Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role in a dealership or independent shop. Strong knowledge of suspension, disc & drum brakes systems, wheel bearings, and wheel cylinder replacement. Familiarity with automotive aftermarket suspension and alignment parts. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive repair are preferred but not mandatory. Alignment and computer skills a plus.
