About the Position Dieter's Porsche & BMW Service is looking for an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate has extensive experience working on European vehicles and can take on a wide range of diagnostic and repair work. This is an opportunity for an experienced technician who takes pride in doing quality work and wants to work in a professional, established independent shop. What We're Looking For An A-Level technician at Dieter's should be able to: Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive concerns independently Approach difficult diagnostic problems and determine the appropriate repair Work confidently with limited supervision Think critically and use sound judgment when diagnosing and repairing vehicles Handle a variety of mechanical, electrical, drivability, and diagnostic concerns Complete assigned work accurately and efficiently Maintain strong productivity while maintaining quality workmanship Communicate diagnostic findings and repair recommendations clearly with the Service Advisor Perform thorough digital vehicle inspections (MPI) Perform coding and programming when required Follow repair orders and complete work to a high professional standard Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area Work as a team while taking ownership of assigned repairs Qualifications 10+ years of professional automotive repair experience Strong diagnostic and repair experience European/German vehicle experience preferred Porsche and/or BMW experience strongly preferred Ability to independently diagnose and repair vehicles Strong mechanical, electrical, and drivability diagnostic skills Ability to work efficiently and maintain a high level of productivity Valid driver's license and clean driving record ASE certifications are a plus ASE Master Technician certification is preferred, but not required Porsche or other manufacturer-specific training/certifications are a plus Professional attitude and strong team mindset Compensation $45 - $60 per hour, depending on experience and production Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday Our shop is closed on weekends.
