Full Job Description Automotive Technician Pay:
$20
  • 25 per hour, depending on experience We are looking for a reliable and motivated Automotive Technician to join our busy auto repair shop.
The ideal candidate has hands-on automotive experience, takes pride in their work, and is committed to performing quality repairs safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Perform oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, and general maintenance Perform vehicle inspections and diagnose basic automotive problems Complete repairs according to manufacturer specifications and shop procedures Perform alignments and other services when properly trained Properly use automotive tools and diagnostic equipment Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all shop safety and OSHA requirements Communicate repair findings and additional needs to the Service Writer or Manager Perform quality-control checks to ensure vehicles are safe before delivery Properly secure all vehicle components, covers, wheels, and parts after completing repairs Assist other technicians and shop personnel when needed Qualifications Automotive repair experience preferred Knowledge of basic vehicle systems and maintenance Ability to diagnose and repair common automotive issues Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment Valid driver's license Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Ability to work independently and as part of a team ASE certifications are a plus but not required What We Are Looking For We want someone who is dependable, hardworking, honest, and willing to learn . Quality and safety are extremely important in our shop. The right technician will have an opportunity to learn additional services and take on more responsibility as their skills develop.
