This is a hands-on technical position—not a traditional software engineering or AI engineering role. The successful candidate will be responsible for Bauer's day-to-day IT and fleet technology while also overseeing, maintaining, testing and troubleshooting AI agents and business automations developed for the company. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working on computers and networks in the office, installing and troubleshooting technology in buses and vans, and managing AI and automation platforms used throughout the business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

IT Systems & Technical Support:

Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot o Desktop & laptop computers o Tablets & mobile devices o Printers & peripherals o Wi-Fi & wired networks o Routers, switches and access points o Microsoft 365 suite administration o Hardware Inventory o Internet and connectivity issues

Fleet Technology & Hardware:

Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot ( experience with Samsara is highly preferred ) o GPS & telematics devices o Vehicle camera systems o Driver tablets o Cellular & wi-fi equipment o Electronic pre/post-trip inspection systems o Driver safety technology

AI Agents & Automation:

Oversee the company's growing portfolio of AI agents & automations o Monitor existing AI agents o Test agents to ensure they are functioning correctly o Troubleshoot failed automations o Manager user access and permissions o Monitor API connections & integrations o Identify errors & escalate complex development issues o Maintain documentation & train employees on using AI tools

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 5 years of IT, systems, hardware or related technical experience
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving ability;
• Computer hardware installation and networking experience;
• Microsoft Office expert including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word;
• Able to establish effective relationships with all levels of management within and outside of the company;
• Able to remain composed and organized;
• Able to work independently, as well as part of a team, with the desire to assist with varying needs within the group;
• Ability to effectively communicate;
• Must be able to handle and communicate confidential information with the utmost discretion;
• Must be motivated and a self-starter;
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups;
• Must have strong organizational skills and be detail oriented;

EXPERIENCE

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's Degree with emphasis on Information Technology preferred.
• Management and/or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to effectively lead, organize, and manage people - showing successful team leadership skills.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
