Overview Join our dynamic automotive service team as an Automotive Mechanic, where your expertise will drive excellence in vehicle repair and maintenance. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles meet the highest safety and performance standards. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Service vehicles with oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and tire services to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Repair and replace ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brakes, and other specialized systems with precision and adherence to manufacturer specifications. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge to execute repairs efficiently and safely. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems on GM vehicles and heavy equipment. Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating tasks, and communicate repair findings clearly to customers while providing excellent customer service. Experience Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in dealership or independent shop environments. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems repair, transmission repair, and diesel engine repair. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, alignment procedures, suspension system repair including shocks & struts, and brake repair. Knowledge of heavy equipment mechanics or diesel mechanics is a plus; experience working with GM vehicles is preferred. Ability to read schematics accurately and work efficiently using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction. $25.00 - $35.54 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
