This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working on cars but also has good communication and computer skills. You will spend part of your day working on vehicles and part of your day assisting with customers, repair orders, estimates, and shop management software.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform general automotive repairs and maintenance Oil changes and routine maintenance Brakes, suspension, cooling systems, and other general repairs Assist with vehicle diagnostics and inspections Use Mitchell1 and other computer systems to look up vehicles, parts, labor, and repair information Assist with repair orders and estimates Communicate professionally with customers when needed Help keep the shop organized and work moving efficiently

REQUIREMENTS

2+ years of automotive repair experience preferred Solid general mechanical knowledge Comfortable performing repairs with limited supervision Good customer service and communication skills Comfortable using computers and learning shop management software Valid driver's license Reliable, responsible, and willing to be part of a team

PREFERRED

Previous service writer or customer service experience Experience with Mitchell1 or similar automotive software California Smog Inspector or Repair License (not required)
