Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on used vehicles Perform multi-point inspections and safety checks Complete routine maintenance services (oil changes, brakes, tires, fluids) Use diagnostic tools and software to identify vehicle problems Document repair findings and work performed accurately Follow Car Max quality and safety standards and procedures Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize work Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and overall performance Required Skills Automotive diagnostics Brake system repair Engine repair and maintenance Electrical system troubleshooting HVAC system service Use of OBD-II and diagnostic scanners Suspension and steering repair Preventive maintenance and inspections Technical documentation reading Safety and compliance procedures
