We are looking for a highly skilled technician with strong diagnostic abilities and the experience to independently perform complex repairs. This position is ideal for an experienced technician who takes pride in their work, can efficiently diagnose difficult vehicle concerns, and is comfortable handling major mechanical and electrical repairs. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns Perform advanced diagnostics using manufacturer diagnostic equipment and service information Perform major repairs involving engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, brakes, HVAC, and electrical systems Accurately inspect vehicles and identify needed repairs and maintenance Complete repair orders and document all work performed Work efficiently while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail Communicate diagnostic findings and repair recommendations with service advisors and management Follow all dealership, manufacturer, and safety procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Stay current with Ford training and manufacturer repair procedures Assist and support other technicians when needed Qualifications 5+ years of automotive technician experience preferred Ford dealership experience is preferred but not required Ford certifications are a plus Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills Experience performing major mechanical repairs Ability to work independently and efficiently Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record ASE certifications are a plus What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience and skill level Busy service department with consistent work Opportunities for continued Ford manufacturer training and certifications Career growth opportunities within Perry Auto Group Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Professional and team-oriented work environment If you are an experienced automotive technician looking for a long-term opportunity with a busy Ford dealership, we encourage you to apply.
