Job Description
Lube Technician $21 an hour Driver's license and clean DMV record required!! Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lube Technician to join a fast-paced automotive service environment. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in the automotive industry while gaining hands-on experience in preventive maintenance and vehicle inspections. You will play a key role in ensuring vehicles are serviced efficiently, safely, and to manufacturer standards. Key Responsibilities Perform routine preventive maintenance, including oil changes and fluid services (engine oil, transmission, brake, and other essential fluids) Check and top off fluid levels such as brake fluid, power steering fluid, and windshield washer fluid Inspect vehicles for leaks, wear and tear, and overall condition of key components Check tire pressure and assist with tire rotations as needed Replace basic components such as air filters, oil filters, windshield wipers, and batteries Ensure proper lubrication of vehicle systems and moving parts Accurately document services performed and communicate findings Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Assist with inventory management and stocking of supplies Requirements Basic understanding of automotive maintenance and tools Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Attention to detail and ability to follow service procedures Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials as needed Strong time management and communication skills Previous automotive experience is a plus but not required Work Environment Fast-paced, hands-on automotive shop setting Frequent standing, bending, and lifting Regular use of automotive tools, equipment, and machinery Adherence to strict safety protocols What We Offer Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the automotive industry Career growth and advancement opportunities Supportive team environment with on-the-job training If you're eager to learn, dependable, and interested in building a career in automotive services, we encourage you to apply! #IND2
